Panfilov Street's modern pedestrian character is linked to redevelopment that began in 2017. The walking area between Kabanbay Batyr and Zhibek Zholy gained places to rest and urban installations. The attraction is a way of exploring the centre on foot, with room for spontaneous stops.
Choose a direction before starting so that transport does not force you to retrace the whole walk. You could begin around Astana Square and continue towards Zhibek Zholy, leaving time to notice architectural details and pause at a café of your choice.
